Gerard built Wiluvbeats Studios to meet specific clients’ needs with particular focus on developing the studio to the quality and unique sound valued by engineers and producers. His career spans across a wide range and began in live sound when he worked in New York at the famous S.O.B’s, also known as Sounds of Brazil. It is the premier venue for world music and across all genres. Artists such as Raphael Saddiq, Dwele, Lupee Fiasco, KRS1 and even Trinidad and Tobago’s very best Machel Montano and Alison Hinds. These are just some of the many shows Perreira has worked on.
In Trinidad and Tobago, his work experience led him to be part of the first Audio production team to develop the National Academy of Performing Arts. His credits include the National Steel Orchestra of Trinidad and Tobago, the National Symphony Orchestra, Kennedy Center, USA, the Caribbean Theatre Production Group: West Side Story and Tony and Grammy Award winning singer, Heather Headley to name a few.
